Format of Contributions
Symposium contributions are invited in the form of extended abstracts, which are subject to a 1,200 word limit including references. Extended abstracts should address the topic of the symposium and relate to the areas of interest listed in the Call for Contributions. Authors will make submissions of extended abstracts here on the symposium website.
The acceptance or rejection of each proposed contribution for presentation and discussion at the symposium (and for inclusion in the digital collection of abstracts) will be subject to the outcomes of a double-blind peer review process. Each extended abstract will undergo a review by at least two members of the symposium review board. The outcome of the review process will be an acceptance/rejection decision made by the symposium organizers based on the recommendations made by the review board. The feedback offered by members of the review board will contain constructive recommendations for the improvement and further development of each extended abstract.
The symposium will be held online with a local in-person participation option. Contributions are expected to be delivered as 20-minute presentations, followed by 25-minute discussions (the exact timing is subject to demand and other scheduling considerations, and will be confirmed in due course).
Contributions will be grouped into presentation sessions according to shared interests and topics. An invited session chair will facilitate each presentation session.
Online presenters, session chairs and other participants will receive video conference invitations along with the detailed symposium schedule shortly before the symposium.
